Weinstein's own child recently came out as queer, trans, and non-binary at the age of twenty-eight, and the core of the book is a series of photographs that focuses on their relationship.

À propos de l?auteur: Sandra Chen Weinstein is an award-winning documentary photographer. She has been nominated for the Prix Pictet and her work has been exhibited in the Recontres d'Arles, the Phillips Collection, the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Aperture Gallery, and more. The author of Transcend (The New Press), she splits her time between Virginia and California.
