Hardcover. Etat : Poor. Robert Bright (1902-1988) was a children's author and illustrator who published over twenty books. He was best known for his 1944 book "Georgie" about a little ghost. "The Travel's of Ching" is an adorable and heartwarming story about a small doll named Ching who travels around the world before finding someone who truly wants him. Made by a toymaker in China, he is sent as a gift to America, where he experiences a number of adventures before finding his way back to China and into the possession of a little girl who wanted him from the beginning but could not afford to buy him. This copy is in poor condition. The cover on the spine has completely come off, leaving only the webbing beneath. The binding is thus loose, but is still holding and all pages appear to be present. There is wear and bumping to the corners as well, and there was likely supposed to be a dust jacket which is missing. N° de réf. du vendeur 277
