A propos de cet article

Facsimiles of the writings of John Smith, the first English colonial governor in North America The writings of English solider and explorer John Smith. Smith played an important role in the establishment the first permanent English settlement in North American in a colony at Jamestown, Virginia, in the early 17th century. Following A.G. Bradley's critical and biographical introduction to John Smith, and another introduction by Professor Arber that draws on contemporary documents, the reader can find facsimiles of John Smith's books and maps. Includes descriptions of New England, a record of the New England Trials in 1620 and 1622, alongside a general history of Virginia, and Smith's own account of his adventures. A little bumped to the tail of the spine, with some marginal wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Aside from some offsetting to the endpapers, pages are bright and clean throughout. Very Good. …
