This is a unique book, the fruit of decades of research, contemplation, and spiritual experience, offering a completely new and revealing reading of the Tarot and the Kabbalistic tradition.

Its pages show how the figure of Mary Magdalene—hidden for centuries by patriarchal hegemony—emerges today as a symbol of rediscovered femininity, capable of guiding humanity toward a new era of peace and transformation. From this perspective, the Tarot of Marseille ceases to be a deck of fortune-telling cards and becomes instead a pictorial gospel, a visual manuscript where the secrets of Sephardic Kabbalah, transmitted in medieval Provence, were concealed.

Míchel Pérez Rizzi—professor, musician, and kabbalist—presents a clear proposal: in every Arcana, in every number, and in every image of the Tarot of Marseille, a precise Kabbalistic teaching is alive. The 22 paths of the Tree of Life correspond directly to the Major Arcana, revealing an exact map of spiritual ascent. The sefirot, far from being abstract concepts, become living stations of the soul, where each Arcana, each biblical archetype, and each chapter of the Gospel of John interweave into a perfect fabric.

In this book you will discover:

How the tradition of Mary Magdalene and feminine mysticism connect with the symbolism of the Tarot.
The link between the Major Arcana and the sefirot of the Tree of Life.
How the Gospel of John and the Tarot transmit the same veiled teaching.
The trace of Sephardic Kabbalah in Provence and its influence on the Tarot.
A method of spiritual ascent that combines images, archetypes, and symbols.
A fresh view of limits and choices as a path of growth.

What makes this work innovative is not only the connection between Kabbalah and Tarot, but the demonstration—with rigor and beauty—that the Tarot of Marseille is itself a Sephardic Kabbalistic system in images. Each card functions as a living letter, each number as a hidden cipher, and each symbol as a direct doorway to the mysteries of the soul.

The author leads us on an ascending journey: from Malkhut, the earth and the beginning, to Keter, the fullness, passing through each sphere, each path, and each lesson. It is not a theoretical manual, but an experiential guide that invites us to contemplate, meditate, and be transformed through the power of the symbol.

With a style that is both accessible and profound, the book blends pedagogical clarity with mystical resonance. The reader will find not only an academic study of great value—one that opens new lines of research into the Tarot, Sephardic Kabbalah, and the tradition of Mary Magdalene—but also a practical tool for daily life, capable of inspiring real change.

This is not just another book about Tarot, nor a conventional manual of Kabbalah. It is a master key that unlocks hidden knowledge preserved for centuries, awaiting those who seek a living, integrative spirituality.

In times of crisis and transformation, the proposal of The Tree of Life of Mary Magdalene is more relevant than ever: to recover the silenced feminine voice, to unite traditions, and to remember that true wisdom is transmitted through symbols that speak directly to the heart. We may say that the Tarot of Marseille is the SECRET GOSPEL of MARY MAGDALENE.

An essential book for those who wish to understand the Tarot at its highest dimension, for students of Kabbalah, for researchers of symbolism, and for all who feel the call of a spiritual path rooted in beauty, mystery, and the transformative power of the feminine.
