First edition (a second edition was published in 1974). 8vo. vii, 24 pp. Illustrated from photographs, plates, mounted color plates of scenes from the club's streams, endpaper maps of trout streams in the vicinity of the club. Reminiscences of trout fishing and other club activities on the Catskill streams in Delaware County, New York. Inscribed by the author on the verso of the half-title. With the bookplate of Col. Henry A. Siegel, the leading American sporting book dealer from the 1960s through the 1990s, on the front pastedown; laid in is an exchange of correspondence between two club members concerning Bissell's 1974 reprint of this title and a letter and prospectus concerning a 1984 updated version of the 1941 history of the club. OCLC locates five copies of this edition (Yale, Delaware, Wilmington Public, Bowdoin, Southern Maine). Significant scattered foxing on the title page and in the text, else very good.
