A propos de cet article

16mo. 150 [i.e.160] p. Frontis. Period style calf binding, lettered direct to the spine. A cheap chapbook production on soft paper. The frontis.and title are soiled and the first and final leaves have a little loss by abrasion, nowhere affecting the text. The text itself is an augmented version of 'A journey to Jerusalem' attributed in the Dictionary of national biography to Nathaniel Crouch. 'A strange and true account' is by H. Timberlake; 'The travels of fourteen Englishmen' is by N. Crouch; 'Relation of the great council' is by Samuel Brett; 'The counterfeit Messiah' is from John Evelyn's 'History of the three late famous imposters'. It includes: 'A brief chronology concerning the Jews' by Nath. Holmes. ESTC T70885. Scarce.
