À propos de l'auteur: WILLY J. MASSCHELEIN, currently an independent Process Consultant in Brussels, Belgium, was previously Director of Laboratories and Technical Services at the Brussels lntercommunal Water Board. The editor of three books and the author of more than 100 professional papers on water treatment, he is also immediate Past-President of the International Ozone Association and President of the Belgian Committee of the International Association of Water Pollution Control and Research, and a member of all other major international organizations concerned with drinking water, including the American Water works Association. Dr. Masschelein received the M.A. degree (1958) in chemistry and the Ph.D. degree (1961) in natural sciences from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium.
