Worn half leather binding with a paper label to the front board giving the plate count as 42, on marbled paper covered boards, leather spine, chipped and worn to the board edges, worn to the spine itself. With the hand coloured map is often removed and framed, tissue guards to the plates. French manuscript pencil inscriptions to three plates.

Pagination: [6], 8-52pp, with 42 engraved plates.

Provenance: signatures in French to the front end paper.

Approximately 9 ½ inches (24cm) tall and 12 inches (30.5cm) wide.
