Established in 1999, Vincent Borrelli, Bookseller has been assisting private collectors, photography enthusiasts and institutions throughout the world build major fine art photography book collections. Vincent Borrelli is an artist, working in photography and video for more than 25 years. The first major exhibition of his photographs was in 1989 at The Museum of Modern Art, New York. Since then, his photographs have been exhibited at numerous galleries and museums, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Everson Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and MoMA, New York. His work is held in the collections of these and other institutions. He is a recipient of the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts Fellowship and a Light Work Artist-in-Residence Program grant. His work has been featured and reviewed in Harper's Magazine, The New York Times and The New Yorker. In 1993, he turned to video and began a project that would consume him for the next 10+ years. A passionate bibliophile, Vincent Borrelli began collecting photography books more than 25 years ago. His knowledge, fueled by his own studio practice, gives him a unique relationship to photography, and to the astonishing field of the photographic book.
