The Winds of Destiny

THE WINDS OF DESTINY

Love Lost Series

Book 8

A Romance Suspense and Adventure Novel

THERE IS POSITIVELY NO LOVE LIKE A LOST LOVE AND NO PAIN LIKE A SHATTERED HEART.

The power of love brings hope. However, at times the steps toward love can cause pain and lead to a life of loneliness. We are all born to love with all the necessary courage to walk the path to it... no matter the roughness and no matter the hardships.

That is true in most cases unless you are Casina Collins, a young woman born on an island twenty miles southeast of Port Aransas, Texas. Unless you are a young woman turning twenty-one and the only friends you have had for all those years were Zeus, Hercules, Robin Hood, and Poseidon.

An adventurer by the name of Logan Duncan from Austin, Texas finds himself on the island after his vessel goes down in a storm, trying to escape civilization because of some terrible things he had done.

Then there is Hanno, half beast and half man, who doesn't like the fact that Logan has shown up on the island and becomes jealous as Hell over the eyes Logan Duncan has for Casina and she has for him.

Casina Collins has only loved one man in her entire life, and that was her father, Edward Collins. That was until she saved Logan Duncan from his shipwreck on the jetties of the peninsula.

Join the adventure of ups and downs in the newly found love between Casina and Logan.

Watch the first time Logan gained consciousness after the shipwreck, lying on his back on the beach at Pelican Island. It was as though every ounce of breath left her body into the stormy surroundings like midnight smoke. Every time he kissed her, whether it was in Sherwood Forest or on a mountain top with Zeus commanding their every move, the stranger's kisses made the world come to a stop for the beautiful young redhead.

In Casina's world, this was a new beginning. Not familiar with this kind of love, this is what falling in love is all about, a story she never wanted to come to an end. For so long, she longed for it and dreamed about it. Now, she can't bear to lose it, but that might soon happen when Shannon Turner, another beautiful woman with long flowing blonde hair and a body to die for, follows Logan Duncan to the island in the middle of nowhere.

Some say you can't save someone from The Winds of Destiny, but Casina did just that, at least at first. She walked some of Logan's path with him and protected him from the demons who would end his mission too soon. Casina became first a friend, then a lover, and gave him all her love when it hurt to do so.

Read as the Winds of Destiny change direction in the last two chapters. When they switch back in the other direction? Will Zeus save the day? Or, will Robinhood save the day or Poseidon comes from the deep to help the two lovers escape the ever-expanding love triangles that have evolved.
