One glance....One smile….One dream.... Mike Kristopher, a respected Naval Intelligence officer, has a talent for investing that has made him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But after his best friend, Jared, marries his true love, Patty, in Hawaii, Mike comes to understand that something in his life is lacking despite all of his wealth and his career accomplishments. There is one woman Mike can’t seem to forget, a woman he saw only once. And he doesn’t even know her name…. District Attorney Kelsey Shaw loves her demanding career but is unable to have a successful relationship with any man. Therefore, she is completely unprepared for the instant attraction she feels toward the handsome Mike Kristopher. Despite how compatible they appear to be and Mike’s declaration that he fell in love with her from afar, Kelsey can’t fathom why he thinks that she is pretty and sexy. It’s obvious from their first meeting that he wants her, but old fears make Kelsey hesitate to commit. Career obligations and personal dramas threaten to undermine the couple’s budding romance. Yet, Mike is not about to give up on his dream of a life with Kelsey, no matter what the cost. Will his single-mindedness push Kelsey away? Will her traumatic childhood keep her from exploring the experiences that Mike envisions them sharing? Both of them wish for a future together, but Kelsey will have to accept herself as well as Mike if they’re going to embrace their dream of two hearts becoming one forever.
