Second printing of the second edition. Binding 'B' with title as 'The Wizard of Oz' to front board and spine. Tin man to rear board, sans-serif font for 'The' on spine, full stop after Baum on spine. Title page with 'The New Wizard of Oz' and published by 'The Bobbs-Merrill Company'. Illustrated green cloth binding. Light marking to boards. Wear to ends of spine and corners of boards, heavy rubbing to all edges. Light browning to pages. Occasional light marking to the text. Stain to inner margin (slightly affecting the text) of pages 58 & 59, also affects (to a diminishing degree) six pages before and after. Short tear to upper margin of p59/60, longer tear to upper inner margin of p189/190. Illustrated endpapers. Complete with the colour title page and 15 colour plates. Pencilled inscription to verso of first blank, Inked gift inscription to second blank, dated December 25th, 1904. A good solid example of the second edition. Overall condition is Good Plus.
