The second edition of this work by Alexander Walker. Alexander Walker was a Scottish physiologist and aesthetician best known for his works linking these two fields, and in particular his study of women, beauty and physiognomy. Rebound in a cloth binding with the original cloth boards preserved. Externally, smart with rubbing to the original boards. Internally, pages mildly age toned with occasional spots.
