À propos de l?auteur: Dr. Samples holds a BS degree in Veterinary Technology, a master's degree in Public Health, and a doctoral degree in Health Sciences. She is also licensed in the state of Georgia as a Veterinary Technologist. She has authored over 30 journal articles as well as numerous textbook chapters. Her primary interest is in bridging the gap between veterinary science and public health, and she is currently involved in research on zoonotic diseases in wildlife and the potential for human transmission to hunters, taxidermists, game processors and DNR technicians.
