Highly decorative blue cloth boards with gilt and green embossing are Very Good. Only slight edgewear. Overall light tanning to otherwise unmarked, clean and bright text. Heavily illustrated with color and b/w plates. Only flaw seems to be a missing tissue between frontispiece and title page. Binding is very good considering the weight and age of the book. A fascinating "Cyclopaedia of Practical Instruction and Direction for All Indoor and Outdoor Occupations and Amusements Suitable to Young Ladies." (from the title page) Very scarce and in surprisingly great shape for age.
