Nesta Tuomey

Nesta Tuomey is married and lives in Dublin with her husband. She worked as an air hostess with Aer Lingus. She won the John Power Short Story Award at Listowel Writers Week and the Image/Oil of Ulay Short Story Competition. Her one-act play 'Whose Baby' won the O.Z. Whitehead Play Competition in 1996. She has two published novels 'Up Up and Away' and ' Like One Of The Family'. Also published on Ebooks plus two short story collections 'The Straw Hat' and 'The Mask'. The first short story she ever wrote was broadcast by the BBC and read on radio by Shakespearian actor Harold Goldblatt. Nesta loves opera and her two favourite singers are Maria Callas and Cecilia Bartoli.
