Janet Hannah was born in Canada and received a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from Rutgers University in the United States. She lives in Jerusalem and has published three mystery novels featuring a Hungarian born biochemist. The first book, The Wish to Kill, explores the possibility that thoughts can kill and begins with a death in a university research laboratory in Jerusalem. The second book, Murder with a French Accent, deals with murder at a biotechnology company on the outskirts of Toulouse. Mystery Time begins with the death of an American scientist at a conference in Prague and involves the unusual history of an old watch.
