Shocked by the thought of almost losing her own mother, Lisa R. Delman created Letters from the Heart Project (R), a sacred space for women to dialogue, to be heard and reveal their innermost feelings to their mothers whether alive or passed away. The result, Dear Mom, I've Always Wanted You to Know...Daughters Share Letters from the Heart, Penguin Group, 2005. She received her rights back in 2007, and created a 2nd edition ebook, Dear Mom, Women Share Letters from the Heart, 2013.
She encourages women from around the world to articulate their emotions and create healthy boundaries through tools that lead to healing past wounds, self-discovery, and resolution. Lisa's deep seeded belief: "What truly gives us the most freedom in our lives is the willingness to work through our own wounds instead of dwelling on them, to prevail victorious beyond our circumstances, and to employ all of our challenges to better ourselves." Lisa Delman truly believes that our relationships are our scripts that make up our life and offer valuable pieces to finding ourselves. Presenting and sharing ideas in an enlivening and engaging manner, Lisa has created great success for herself and others personally and professionally. She is passionate about re-inventing conversations that inspire our best selves.
Lisa holds a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Management, is an Associate Professor, Facilitator, and Speaker. Extraordinary results came out of the Letters from the Heart (R) and as a result, Dear Mom. During the time it was active, she received attention from newspapers, magazines, TV, theater, and entertainment industry. She was contacted by individuals who wanted to take the material to the next level. She had some "almost calls" especially from the theater industry. It was serendipitous since her Great Uncle, Morton Da Costa, was a famous producer on Broadway, film, writer, and actor know for theatrical productions and successful film versions, "Music Man" and Auntie Mame". Fascination with dialogue is in her DNA. She is committed to finding a home for the material so compelling stories and healing can be shared with a larger audience. "As we express ourselves to be our best, we liberate each other." Lisa R. Delman. You can contact Lisa, LisaDelman@mac.com.
