About the Author
Thomas D. Taylor is an author, an artist, a songwriter, and (along with Elyse Bruce) Co-Creator of Midnight In Chicago, an international initiative which raises funds and awareness for people with disabilities.
He is the author of the novel, "Geo-213: The Lost Expedition", the novella, "Evil Creeps In: A Tale of Exorcism", and five anthologies, "Geo-213: The Lost Stories", "Gruesome Triad: Three Stories of the Macabre", "Grim Quatrain: Four Tales of Terror," "Ghostly Quintet: Five Tales of Ghosts, Apparitions, and the Beyond," and the mainstream fiction anthology "Life Is A Journey: Twenty Coming-Of-Age Stories."
One of his short stories, "The Interview," won the First Place Fiction award in the 1991 edition of Towers literary magazine. Another of his stories, "A Grasshopper Cerebrates Humanity," was published in the same issue.
Taylor is also a nonfiction author. "Autistic Authors, and Autistics and Autism in Literature" is his latest book. Recently, Taylor published an article entitled "Idle No More: A White Man Speaks" which was republished in First Perspective Magazine.
Taylor's artwork has sold worldwide. Taylor painted the front and back cover art for two of singer/songwriter Elyse Bruce's albums: "Midnight in Chicago", and "Countdown to Midnight". He has done the artwork and photography for all of his publications.
Taylor is also responsible for co-writing three songs with Elyse Bruce: "Late Night In The Borough", "Somewhere In Detroit," and "How Do I Begin To Believe (Lying In The Arms Of My Judas)."
He also edited Elyse Bruce's novel "Glass On A Stick" and many other of her literary works.
