Alexa Darin

Alexa grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where summer days were spent either horseback riding or lazing about at the beach with friends. It was an innocent enough time, though that didn’t stop her from having a mad crush on the boy next door. She just knew she and the boy would one day marry and have a life filled with adventure. But first crushes rarely turn out the way one plans and by the time Alexa was old enough to be more practical, the boy had moved away and she had to create her own adventures, one of which was becoming a romance writer.

When not in writing mode, Alexa spends a good amount of her leisure time either hiking in the Alpine Wilderness or playing doorman to a couple of opinionated Labrador retrievers who think she should spend less time at her desk and more time outside throwing a ball. She believes every romance writer should keep an emergency care kit that contains an abundance of dark chocolate, plenty of red wine, and a good selection of Barry White music.

Though not typically a funny person, Alexa occasionally finds herself to be amusing.
