I have been writing short science fiction stories for about 5 years, mostly posting these on internet sites such as SFF World: http://www.sffworld.com/community/story/3932p0.html

and Fiction Press. I have also been writing fan fiction stories relating to Marvel Comics iconic characters such as Thor, Galactus, the Silver Surfer and the Hulk for about 8 years. and Alvaro's Comics Message Boards (Thor Message Board, Cosmic Marvel Message Board, Hulk Message Board and Comic Battles Message Board).

I have also written a number of alternate history stories (as a sub genre of science fiction) posting them on internet sites such as the Alternate History Writers Forum.

I have considered dabbling in short horror stories and also adult fiction but my wife is not so keen on my participation in the latter category.

In 2011 I wrote an "Alien Hunter" series for the Golden Visions science fiction magazine. This 12 part monthly series has now been completed and I have now self published the series as a novella using the Lulu self publishing site (see above link) and also on Amazon.

A short story of mine "Trathh" has been acccepted by the Bewildering Stories sci-fi magazine and I expect it to be published some time in the first quarter of 2012.

I have had six flash fiction stories published on the Australian Antipodean SF site: The Visit, Surprise Attack, Dangerous Journey, Inter-Net Writer, the Succession. and Trathh. Another story "New Beggining" has ben submitted to Antipodean SF.

I work as an economic and financial (and occasionally actuarial) consultant to various Australian Federal Government Departments.
