Eden Medina

Eden Medina is assistant professor in the School of Informatics and Computing and adjunct assistant professor in the Department of History at Indiana University, Bloomington. She received her Ph.D. in the history and social study of science and technology from MIT in 2005 and holds a degree in electrical engineering from Princeton University. Her work studies interplay of technology and politics in different geographic and historical contexts. Medina teaches courses on social informatics, information ethics, and the geography of technology. She is the author of Cybernetic Revolutionaries: Technology and Politics in Allende's Chile (MIT Press, 2011).
