I'm a gardener, really. But I love all things rural, especially the English Lake District. I was brought up in Blackpool, on the west coast of England, amongst the sea and sand. Writing is a passion; storytelling- emotion- colour. Please enjoy a sample read of my work.

To Paint a White Horse is a cosy mystery set in the English Yorkshire dales. I wrote it with a view to being a light-hearted story with human interest. The characters are all likeable, especially Jonathan Miller, the marathon runner. This is a contemporary novel and is unique in its subject matter in the restoration of a massive chalk horse.

Northern Spirit Is the first in the Keldas family saga. It is a gritty novel set in the beautiful English Lake District.

Last Boat To Nowhere is the second novel in the Keldas series. It starts in 1974 and follows David Keldas through to the next decade. .

The Keeper Of The House will be released toward the end of 2013 and is the third in the Keldas series. It is the prequel to Northern Spirit and starts in 1901 and follows the life of Robert, Freddie and Elizabeth Keldas in Edwardian England.
