Victor Vaguine

Victor Vaguine, Ph.D., a CERN alumnus, is an independent scientist and philosopher with a lifelong dedication to foundational questions in physics. He was born and educated in Russia, then part of the former Soviet Union, where he developed an early interest in both theoretical and experimental physics.

He earned his doctoral degree in physics (Docteur d’État) in 1970—during the Cold War—from the University of Paris at Orsay, France, a leading institution in fundamental research. Over the decades, Dr. Vaguine has pursued his scientific inquiries independently, outside the conventional academic establishment—most recently advancing a new ontological quantum physics framework known as Aphysical Quantum Mechanics (AQM).
