L.P. Fergusson

Loraine Fergusson is a British writer. She grew up on the borders of Wales in a Tudor house on the banks of the River Wye. When, many years later, she took a job at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, the home of the eleventh Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Winston Churchill, the idea of the Duntisbourne Hall novels was born. Book One, The Archivist was published in the summer of 2012 and Book Two, The Golden Hand in the spring of 2013. The final title, The Hipkiss Files, was published in 2023. She also writes serious historical fiction as LP Fergusson.
