Damon Ferrell Marbut was born in Mobile, Alabama, USA. A Southern novelist and poet, Marbut's "Awake in the Mad World" is his debut literary fiction novel. He now lives and works in New Orleans, Louisiana. His second novel, which is based in New Orleans, is in progress.
