Tony McManus

Tony McManus was born in Manchester, England and was educated at Manchester University. Though an aerospace design engineer by profession, he worked in many jobs to serve his passion for travel such as English teacher, construction worker, bar tender and taxi driver. His passion for writing began at school where he excelled at English and composition. Over the years he's written abundant articles on a variety of subjects and had many short stories for children published. "The Iran Deception" is his first novel. He is presently working on a second: "Bangkok Interlude" and a collection of short stories: "Down and Out in the Big Mango". He is an outdoorsman who loves canoeing, kayaking and cross country skiing. He lives in a log home in Quebec, Canada and a country guesthouse in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
