Seamus McKenna
Seamus McKenna’s primary qualification is in Civil Engineering (ONC Civil Eng), which he obtained at Waterford Regional College, Ireland, now South East Technological University. He holds an MBA from Trinity College, Dublin, a HNC in Computer Science from North West Regional College, Derry, and a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (Dip(A&F)).
In 2023 he obtained an MA in Creative Writing from Dublin City University (DCU).
His well-received The Reconstitution of Ireland (2024) enlarges on the hundreds of letters he has had published in The Irish Times over many years. His newest work is Saint Helen, a novel. He is the author of The Omicron Forex Trading Manual (2012) a best-selling treatment of Algorithmic Foreign Exchange Trading, and The Maker’s Name (2024), also a novel.
He lives in the university town of Maynooth, Ireland, with his long-suffering but supportive wife, Marilyn. He has a son, a daughter, and five delightful grandchildren.
