Breast cancer does not care where you live. While my experience was in the US and not in France, the questions that you need to ask your caretakers are very similar. After 18 years of being personally aware of breast cancer, I know that being an informed and empowered patient can make a huge difference is the care you get.

I told my story and have offered practical information in this book so that others would have a better understanding of what they may be facing.

If you are reading this and know someone you love that is about to deal with this disease then I hope you will share this information with them. If you are reading this and are about to face breast cancer yourself then I hope you will find my book dramatic but ultimately uplifting and helpful.
