Mayi Ngwala

MAYI NGWALA was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He's a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and the former Hollywood Scriptwriting Institute. Mayi was trained in the art of storytelling and screenwriting by mentor, noted writer, and Iowa Walk of Fame inductee Earl D. Blakesley, Jr. Congo: Spirit of Darkness is Mayi's joint debut novel with co-author and brother Allain Ngwala. He lives in Maryland with his wife, Nakia T. Ngwala, and their two sons.
