LINDA CADDICK spent her childhood alternating between boarding school and running barefoot on her family farm in Zimbabwe. Strongly attracted to Cape Town, South Africa, she went to live there at the first opportunity. Her writing skills were developed during many years of producing descriptive editorial for a restaurant publication. After almost 20 years of city life, her dream of living in the country was realized when she and her husband, together with their two children, bought a run-down caravan park on a small-holding in the Cape winelands and turned it into a popular resort for church and family outings.
Linda has eagerly awaited a chance to indulge her passion for writing. Her first novel, Woman of Clay, subtly captures the heart of the gospel message within a compelling story that highlights human vulnerability against the redemptive power of God. The book discreetly provides simple answers to big questions and sweeps away the confusion of religiosity. She is currently working on a sequel.
