Vahagn Grigoryan

Vahagn Grigoryan was born on March 27th, 1942 in Yerevan.

He has graduated from YSU faculty of Philology and worked in “Hayastan” publishers, in literary media, and in WUA. “Hayfilm” film studio has made films based on his novels and stories. Also animated films have been made on his scripts. V. Grigoryan’s works have been published in literary media and in separate books in Russian, Estonian, Lithuanian, Bulgarian, Polish and Slovenian. He has also done some translations acquainting the Armenian reader with the works of mainly Russian and Lithuanian writers.
