Christy Summerland

Christy Summerland has been writing since she was six, when she took over her mother's typewriter and rewrote some of her favorite books for fun. As she grew older, she would start projects, write two chapters, and lose interest. It was only after her mother's battle with ALS ended that she focused and finished her first book, Like Dark Minds.

Since then, she's found a new love for writing. Sometimes it's for fun, sometimes to escape, and sometimes to remember what's important.

She loves music, the mountains, and anything that flies. Flying takes her away from the world, to the space between the ground and the universe. With both feet in the dirt and both hands in the stars... Stand above.
