Lawrence Leonard Taylor was exposed to travel early in life by teaching parents who spent summers towing him and his siblings around the country. Lawrence, as he is better known, left Detroit in the late 70s to search of an identity beyond his city borders with a stint with the U.S. Navy. He became an avid chronicler of his travels to foreign lands in letters to family and friends. His frequent writing drew enough praise to inspire him to develop storytelling skills in the romantic mystery genre.
A miraculous transformation propelled Lawrence, with a growing family, into a career in telecommunications delaying his inevitable commitment to writing. In 2005, semi-retired after moving to Hawaii, Lawrence began searching for a method of transforming his life with writing at the core of his desire to change. In recreating his earlier self-styled transformation, Lawrence was able to identify six definitive steps that made up his change method.
Lawrence is a student of human transformation and a proponent of, finding and living on, purpose. “Finding purpose is akin to washing off a dirt covered window. Living your purpose is not only possible, but can be had on demand with your personal purpose in tact and your commitment to make change.”
Lawrence is a father of three and grandfather to seven. He loves hiking and swimming in Hawaii and travels for exposure, change an writing. Lawrence is attracted to human transformation processes and has a penchant for developing business opportunities on Maui. He believes that love, exposure and open mind are of greatest value to personal development. Lawrence’s declared purpose in life “is to build and broaden bridges over the gaps that separate people.” And anything that separates people, is not in humanity’s best interest.”
