Ken Doggett

Growing up in the sunny Southeastern U.S., Ken Doggett developed a love for reading right after he discovered the school library. He read almost everything, but was especially fascinated by the fantastic tales of spaceships, space exploration, and conflict among the stars. He eventually discovered writers who would become his favorites: Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, John W. Campbell, and later, Larry Niven and Harlan Ellison. He graduated from Avondale High School just outside Atlanta, and after a stint in the Army, worked in the field of electronics and electronic technology. After a few years of reading all of those great stories, he decided to try his hand at writing his own. As a result he's now a veteran writer whose stories have been published in several SF magazines. After retiring from his regular job with the U.S. Government, he moved to a rural farming community just a little southeast of Atlanta, Georgia, where he writes full time.

Currently he writes Science Fiction novels that contain no zombies, no werewolves, no unexplainable things that go bump in the night. He likes space, planets, bad-ass battleships, lasers, and...oh, yeah...good characters to use all that stuff.
