Dr Viswanatha Subramaniam

Dr.Viswanataha Sankara Rama Subramaniam or shortly Dr.VSR.Subramaniam or "drvsrs" is the first Ph.D Degree holder in Management, of the University of Bombay, India (1975). He has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India (1966, A Harvard, USA Collaborated Institute). B.Sc in Physics of the University of Madras, India (1959). Past Experience : (1) "Data Processing Expert" to the Commonwealth Fund for Technical Cooperation (CFTC) , London (1982 to 1986) (2) In the same period, he was nominated by CFTC as a "Consultant Adviser-Computer Services" to the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), Barbados, West Indies. (3) For the development of "Time Recording & Costing" of Project funding & Four Rate of Return on Investment concept (4ROR, Economic, Financial, Social, Technical) for CDB, the World University, USA awarded a "Post Doctoral Cultural" degree in Computer Science in 1983 (4) In this period, he was a close associate of Sir.Arthur Lewis, Nobel Laureate in Economic Science (1979) and a Visiting Professor to the University of the West Indies, Barbados Campus. (5) Sir Arthur Lewis introduced him to 4 more Nobel Laureates in Economic Science, and this association motivated a Research & Development activity in him (6) Professionally, he was the head of the MIS division in the ESSO, an Eastern affiliate of the EXXON corporation, Newyork (1968 to 1975). (7) Consultant in MIS/Computer Software in India and Far-East (1976 to 1981). (8) Published more than 60 Research papers in Management in Indian & International journals (9) Fulltime, Visiting and associate Professor in Management for a number of Universities (1976 to 1981).
