Divakara K Udupa

Murder of Dreams in Amazon Kindle is Divakara K. Udupa’s first fictional novel deviating from his information and communication technology (ICT) field.

In addition to many technical articles, two US patents, Udupa wrote two widely acclaimed books ― Network Management Systems Essentials and TMN: Telecommunications Management Network. McGraw-Hill, US was the publisher of both books.

Udupa worked for Siemens Telecom Networks and IBM in the US. He is an IBM, US retiree. He changed his career from engineering field (15 years) in India to an ICT person and an IT writer in the US.

Before going to the US, Udupa worked in the design wing of Coal India Limited as a Senior Design Engineer.

He started a media company after returning to India from the US in 1999. He ran the company for a while before winding it up.

Udupa also wrote a PC book (Personal Computer (PC): What Is a PC, How to Buy and Use One) in India for his publishing company.

Udupa has a B. Sc (Engineering) in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University, an M. E./MS in Mechanical Engineering from Bengal Engineering College, Calcutta University, and an MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, US.
