Catherine Milam

Catherine Milam draws inspiration for her books from many years' experience working in early childhood classrooms. She is passionate not only about helping children grow physically, emotionally, and cognitively, but also about helping parents and grandparents understand why children do what they do. She is herself a mother of three daughters Amber, Melissa and Felicia also the grandmother of one grandson Ramaris Jr that fills her life with joy.

Catherine has her CDA (Children Development Associate) credential and is currently finishing her degree in Early Childhood Education. As the owner of The Butterfly Rainbow Daycare, she has the privilege of mentoring young teachers and coming alongside parents as they experience milestones and obstacles. Catherine is often reading. Add some fancy chocolate or a great cup of tea, and the experience is perfect--which is why she collects coffee cups and lots and lots of books. From reading all those books Catherine loves writing on many different subjects.
