Lucinda Choules

Hello,

My name is Lucinda Choules, my mother was a zookeeper and I grew up helping her care for her zoo animals every day after school. I have worked for many years as a zookeeper myself and as a volunteer bird rehabilitator.

I have written 2 children's books Harry the Turkey and Friends which was inspired by my pet rare breed turkey Harry. This is a fun activity and coloring book that is an adventure for the kids that teaches them about real animals found on a farm. Every animal has a real photo and then a line drawing to be colored. All photos were taken within Harry's acreage. This book is for ages 4 and up!

My second book Is What to do if you find a Baby Bird on the Ground which is intended to help people who see a nestling on the ground and are unsure what to do next.

I am also the first author of 2 scientific journal articles and several blogs.
