Gage Shepherd

Gage Shepherd is a 10-year-old student living with his parents and siblings in the eastern US. Gage is a lover of science and animals. He has combined both to teach young children science facts through his Adventures of Comet series books. Gage's imagination comes to life through the beautiful watercolor illustrations done by Melissa Bailey. Melissa is a published illustrator living in Michigan.

Comet, the red and white kitten who is the main character of the series, is Gage's real life pet.
