I was lucky enough to be born and raised in the suburban outskirts of London, before moving to the eclectic seaside town of Brighton as a student. I’ve always been creative; working as a collage artist, sculptor, prop maker and garden designer over the years. But I am an introvert and a romantic at heart, and writing was, and is, my first love.
I write stories – mainly romance – but like most writers I’m also an avid reader. I tend to prefer the pure escapism of fiction and generally something with a touch of darkness; whether it’s a thriller, sci-fi, historical, contemporary, horror, crime, supernatural or romance. I do enjoy a good bit of humour, but I’ll take a sinister undercurrent over chick lit any day. Not sure what that says about me, but probably best not to dwell on it.
In March 2015 my debut novel, Kindred Hearts, was released by Cardiff-based publisher, Accent Press. Spurred on by this success, a lifelong passion for reading and a supportive family, I continue to write novels from my Hertfordshire home.
