Vildan Bahar Tuncay

Vildan Bahar Tuncay (1978-) holds a Ph.D. degree in Geography, a Master's degree in Political Science, a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Studies and a certificate in Social and Cultural Anthropology (Laval University, Quebec, Canada). Her publications are mainly about indigenous social movements and social policies in Latin America. A faithful spectator of figure skating competitions since her childhood, she also published a book on Russian figure skating and legendary Russian athlete Evgeni Plushenko's sporting career intertwined with the political and socio-economic changes of the last decades in Russia: The Return of the Firebird.
