Rollie C. Gray Jr. grew up on the Southside of Chicago, Il. He currently resides with his family in Clarkston, Ga.
which boasts one of the most diverse communities in metro Atlanta.
Rollie survived Chicago in the 70’s during the Black Power
movement, followed by the Hip Hop movement of the 80‘s and
90’s. A close-knitted family, loyal friends, and Hip Hop protected
him from the unpredictable streets of the Chi. In 1996, Rollie
graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelor of
Arts in Political Science. Grambling is where he became socially
and politically conscience.
He began to understand the vital importance for African Americans
to record and tell their own stories. Over the years, Rollie
developed a deep desire to change the world by speaking out
against injustices. After pursuing a career in politics, social services,
and music, he soon found that he prefers to educate and
entertain the human spirit with stories about cultural, social, and
political issues.
