L. G. Surgeson

L.G. Surgeson is a writer and teacher who lives in a cottage with a garden full of fairies by a river in the middle of Wales. She lives with her long-suffering partner, Michelle and their four cats (Ocean, Pickles, Puddin' and Terminal Curiosity). They like mid-Wales inspite of the damp, because the quiet is really quiet and the darkness is really dark. She writes in the time she creates by not going to bed at a sensible time and avoiding the housework. The cats like to help. They aren't very good at it.

L.G. writes a lot. She writes novels, blog posts and articles. She believes it's important to write about what you know so the novels she writes are either fantasy adventures or semi-autobiographical stories about teachers. Both are equally believable. She also writes blog posts and articles about things that she would rant about at length if anyone would listen.

In the real world, L.G. pretends to be a responsible adult well enough that someone has employed her as a maths teacher. She specialising in teaching learners with social, emotional and mental health difficulties . When she's not doing that, and has been prised away from the keyboard, she likes to poke about her garden upsetting the fairies.

Never make L.G. laugh, you'll end up being quoted in a novel.
