C. Edgar North is a nom de plume for fiction written by Glen Witter. He. lives in the beautiful Okanagan valley of British Columbia, Canada and many scenes are centered there. However, he has worked in over 30 countries as a "workforce development" consultant and he draws heavily on his international experiences. His various books develop action scenes in the Maldives, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nigeria, the U.K., Zanzibar, Japan, Canada, Russia, Lybia, Kyrgyzstan and the USA.
The books are action/thrillers involving the CIA and FBI. Three books, "the Nighthawk series" (NIGHTHAWK CROSSING, NIGHTHAWK: AFRICAN ICE and NIGHTHAWK: CHIEF HAZEL) feature an Aboriginal family successfully smuggling guns, people, raw diamonds, black market dollars and drugs and enhancing the welfare of the members of their First Nations reservation. The leader partners with a Russian arms dealer drawing the interest of the CIA.
The fourth book, BLOOD, FIRE AND ICE pits "big oil"against an international group of scientists who have developed a new fuel source.
