Linda Henderson

Linda Marie Henderson grew up in the beautiful Catskill Mountain area of upstate New York. She was the adopted daughter of caring, Christian immigrants hailing from the Scandinavian country of Norway. Lin enjoyed an idyllic close relationship with her brother, Bruce, who was 11 months her senior. Throughout her childhood and into adulthood, she found her niche through studying and academics.Her love for writing actually began in the first grade, when her Father complimented her on something she had written. She would go on to win spelling bees and a writing contest, to studying English more in depth in her collegiate endeavors. Eventually,

through God's enablement, Linda earned a master's degree from a Christian University.

Before her college days, Linda experienced an inner transformation at age thirteen that would effect the rest of her life. At a Billy Graham crusade in New York City, on a rainy afternoon, Linda asked Jesus to be her personal Lord and Savior. Her life would never be the same. The peace she experienced shortly afterwards was overwhelming.Every decision she would ever make from that point on, would be affected by her previous decision to invite Christ into her life.

She eventually married a Scottish/German/Indian/ American man named Harold Henderson, from her home town. They were blessed with seven children- five boys and two girls.

In 2007- after her adopted parents had gone to their eternal reward,by the grace of God she found her biological Mother, Ingrid Sletten, who lived in Norway. She also was thankful to be able to find her biological Italian Father, and her four half brothers,all living in the states.

Today, she is pleased to be the Grandmother of seven grandchildren, and joyfully anticipates many more grandchildren in the future.

Like most of us, Linda has made a few mistakes along the way, but thankfully, because the Holy Spirit was in her life, she was spared from making some mistakes that she might have made without Him. She has learned that God's grace is bigger than any wrong decision or failure a person can make. When we turn to Jesus, He not only forgives us , but He fixes our mistakes & covers all of our sins. He gives us the grace we need to live a renewed and victorious life according to God's purposeful design.

It's been quite a journey, but there is still so much she would like to learn and experience. Linda's writings are based not only on research, but on what God has taught her thus far. She would like to share this with you. It's also a joy for her to share her God given imagination with children, and to lead them to the only one who can give them eternal life. She believes in leading children to Jesus at a young age, to ensure their salvation, and to help them make right choices later on. God has a great destiny for any person who is willing to turn to Him and ask Jesus to save them. The end of life will truly be a new beginning for those who have entrusted their souls to God's loving care!
