Ira Laidley

Ira Laidley was born in Columbus, OH and has resided in Central Ohio for all his life, with the exception of brief stints in Germany and Wisconsin. Currently a resident of Marion, OH (which is stretching the Central, somewhat), he lives in 130+ year old farmhouse with his family, working on his hovercraft as time allows.

An avid fan of science fiction, Ira grew up reading the classics and watching Dr. Who, which may account for the extra "u"'s in his writings. He has led a number of writing panels and posted various stories in a number of outlets. 2017 finally saw him release his first book, Emissary, on Amazon with another three books to follow in the near-future. His favourite authors include Isaac Asimov, Octavia E. Butler, Orson Scott Card, Robert Silverberg, and, most notably, C.J. Cherryh.

His most recent accomplishments have been reading all the books in both the Xanth and Discworld series and being dad to two awesome boys.
