Andrew J Weis was born in Tacoma, Washington but lived in Chicago and its Northwest suburbs his whole life. For over 25 years he's worked in various information technology roles and wrote fiction in his spare time during those years. He's also a volunteer track and field coach and enjoys decorative woodworking and restoring antiques.
