Lily Ashton

Lily Ashton is the author of the Alice Haydon Mystery series.

She was born in England and after travelling far and wide she settled in Queensland, Australia.

Brought up reading Agatha Christie and Kerry Greenwood books, Lily gave up full time work to devote her time to writing her own stories.

Lily lived in England for many years and created Great Wheaton as the setting for her books. The fictional riverside town is based on her favourite places.

In her spare time Lily enjoys visiting art galleries and discovering local artists, weaving her knowledge into her mystery stories.

Lily enjoys long walks along the beach and reading novels of all kinds.
