DP Durlston-Powell

DP Durlston-Powell has always been a nerd with a love for roleplay, wargaming, computer coding and video gaming, but was a late convert to Magic: The Gathering, having only been introduced to Commander within the last decade. Anyone with a passion seeks out like-minded people and DP has seized the opportunity that his work travel affords him to meet as many Commander players from all walks of life and just shoot the breeze. What he has learnt about the game and the people that play it has just made him more passionate about Commander at the grassroots level.

He has been a globe-trotter for more than 30 years in many of his previous jobs that have ranged from aircrew to airport manager, from post-graduate lecturer to project manager. One of the things these jobs have in common is the chance to meet people and make connections; something that DP loves.

If you meet him some time, you will see that he enjoys getting to know people and listening to how they see the world, so do not be shy as he certainly will not be!

And yes, DP really is known as DP to his family, friends and colleagues.
